About

The “ Celebration Apartment” . This first floor luxury apartment overlooks the sea and has a narrow front balcony allowing guests to breakfast outside. You will feel pampered in this apartment which is ideal if you feel you deserve it or if you have a special occasion! The apartment has recently been refreshed with many new items of high quality furniture and fittings. Gaze out to sea and watch the world go by.

Good to know

As you enter the apartment there is a lobby for hanging up coats and dropping shopping bags ! To one side of the lobby is a spacious newly fitted bathroom with bath and separate shower. To the other side of the lobby is a well equipped kitchen and a 27ft lounge/ bedroom area. There is a king size bed positioned so you can see through the two large glazed doors to the sea beyond. The lounge area has an elegant table and chairs, also a sofa day bed which turns into two full size single beds. Lounge and bedroom can be curtained off at night for privacy. If you cannot resist your lap top, there is a small desk.

Other Details to Note

We have recently installed a new fibre WiFi mesh system that should give you speeds of up to 700 Mb/s. Eastbourne hosts two much televised annual events. The women’s tennis competition in June and the Airbourne show in August. If you want to stay during these periods you are advised to book early.

House Rules

An anti bacterial station is located on the wall in the ground floor entrance hall. Guests are respectfully asked to use this facility on departure and return to the apartment. It is the guest's responsibility to ensure infants and children do not climb on the balcony railings - thank you!

Neighborhood

Eastbourne has been deemed "The Sunshine Coast" and is famous for its colourful gardens that frame the promenade/boardwalk. A "classy” resort with it's own traditional pier. Suitable for couples/ families and individuals, whatever your age! Plenty of shops and restaurants on the doorstep. Trendy places to eat and drink in the evening near the town centre/ or good old fish and chips on the seafront. Child entertainment venues close by (Treasure Island). Outdoor explorers will love Beach Head, the South Downs and the Cuckmere River area, with walking and cycling routes. Regular seafront markets and tribute bands/ firework displays at "The Bandstand" during April to October. For culture and entertainment there is an extensive theatre programme of shows on offer all year round at Eastbourne's Congress/Devonshire theatres as well as events at Eastbourne's Towner Art gallery. Xmas markets in December.

Guest Access

The apartment is seafront. There is free on street parking outside the apartments and in neighbouring roads but there is competition for space especially during busy holiday periods. In addition there is pay parking on the seafront itself which becomes free from 6 pm to 8 am. You can walk to most attractions and facilities from this ideally located apartment. The town centre with main line train station is a 15 minute walk within the town centre itself and even closer are public and tourist buses.

Great place to stay been here 4 times now every visit is great apartment all ways clean and cosy bus stop outside for bexhill and Hastings. Nothing I did not like.

We loved everything about this apartment. Location is excellent and the loved the balcony complete with table and chairs. Nice to have a kitchenette too. A bit noisy as right by a main road but not much you can do about that because of the excellent location. Parking is tricky but we were lucky to get free parking outside the accomodation.

Liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung in top Lage. Hier würde mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Man kommt rein und fühlt sich wohl. Das Bad ist toll, mit Badewanne und Dusche. Der Strand liegt auf der anderen Straßenseite, Pier, Promenade und Geschäfte, Restaurants sind fussläufig zu erreichen. Vom Balkon hat man einen wunderschönen Ausblick auf den Pier und das Meer. Parkvoucher kann vom Vermieter erworben werden. Ist zu empfehlen in Hauptreisezeit oder an sonnigen Wochenenden. Egal was man braucht, es ist da! Die Pfanne müsste mal ersetzt werden, der Boden ist nicht mehr gerade. 😂Jammern auf ganz hohem Niveau.

Perfect location overlooking the sea. A cafe/ice cream parlour next door for breakfasts. Tesco Express just around the corner. Decor was trendy and comfortable furniture, lovely and clean and nicely decorated. Nothing really.

Find us

It is easy to walk to most attractions and facilities in Eastbourne from this superb location. A favourite is walking along the promenade and there are established areas where you can take your four legged member of the family. To explore further afield, there are regular buses nearby, including "sightseeing routes" from the Pier. The train station is approximately a 15 minute walk from the apartment, in the town centre. Nearby towns include Pevensey, Bexhill and Hastings to the east. There is Lewes and Brighton to the West, all with ancient and historical significance.
