We have recently installed a new fibre WiFi mesh system that should give you speeds of up to 700 Mb/s. Eastbourne hosts the famous Airborne show in August and the much televised Women’s Tennis competition in June so book early if you would like to see either.

House Rules

An anti bacterial station is located on the wall in the ground floor entrance hall. Guests are respectfully asked to use this facility on departure and return to the apartment. If you are bringing a four legged member of the family, in the interest of hygiene please observe the following rules during your stay: Unfortunately we are unable to host cats in the apartment, but dogs are more than welcome. No dogs are allowed in the bedroom area, including on the bed. Please make sure your dog is dry, and use a throw/blanket if you are allowing them on the sofa. No dogs should be left alone in the apartment without your supervision. Please do your best to prevent your dog from barking unnecessarily as this may disturb other guests. Please prevent your dog from scratching upholstery. Please take your dog out regularly to the toilet. If your dog get wet after an exciting swim in the sea, please ensure you dry them off as thoroughly as possible before returning to the apartment. Your co-operation is greatly appreciated!

Neighborhood

Eastbourne has been deemed "The Sunshine Coast" and is famous for its colourful gardens that frame the promenade/boardwalk. A "classy” resort with it's own traditional pier. Suitable for couples/ families and individuals, whatever your age! Plenty of shops and restaurants on the doorstep. Trendy places to eat and drink in the evening near the town centre/ or good old fish and chips on the seafront. Child entertainment venues close by (Treasure Island). Outdoor explorers will love Beachy Head, the South Downs and the Cuckmere River area, with walking and cycling routes. Regular seafront markets and tribute bands/ firework displays at "The Bandstand" during April to October. For culture and entertainment there is an extensive theatre programme of shows on offer all year round at Eastbourne's Congress/Devonshire theatres as well as events at Eastbourne's Towner Art gallery. Xmas markets in December.

Thank you for a gorgeous stay this week, Carole! The flat was super clean, easy to find and I felt right at home while staying for a week of work at the theatre. It was right on the seafront and 2 mins away from a tesco which made for easy grocery shopping, had all the amenities I needed (and more!) and was a wonderful place to be. Would definitely book again! x

Super zentral. 5 Minuten vom Pier. Nette Kneipe um die Ecke. Sehr leckere Eisdiele nebenan. Unterkunft hat (fast) alles was man braucht. Jammern auf hohem Niveau. Eine Kaffeemaschine wäre schön und ein größerer Föhn.

Find us

It is easy to walk to most of the Eastbourne attractions and facilities from this superb location. A favourite is walking along the promenade and there are established areas where you can take your four legged member of the family. To explore further afield, there are regular buses nearby, including "sightseeing routes" from the Pier. The train station is approximately a 15 minute walk from the apartment, in the town centre which itself has recently undergone a facelift . Nearby towns include Pevensey, Bexhill and Hastings to the east. There is Lewes and Brighton to the west, all with ancient and historical significance.
