Neighborhood

Eastbourne has been deemed "The Sunshine Coast" and is famous for its colourful gardens that frame the promenade/boardwalk. A "classy” resort with it's own traditional pier. Suitable for couples/ families and individuals, whatever your age! Plenty of shops and restaurants on the doorstep. Trendy places to eat and drink in the evening near the town centre/ or good old fish and chips on the seafront. Child entertainment venues close by (Treasure Island). Outdoor explorers will love Beach Head, the South Downs and the Cuckmere River area, with walking and cycling routes. Regular seafront markets and tribute bands/ firework displays at "The Bandstand" during April to October. For culture and entertainment there is an extensive theatre programme of shows on offer all year round at Eastbourne's Congress/Devonshire theatres as well as events at Eastbourne's Towner Art gallery. Xmas markets in December.

Guest Access

Everything you might want is within walking distance of this ideally located apartment. There is free on road parking outside the apartments but competition for space is a challenge during busy holiday periods. There is free parking in neighbouring roads and paid parking on the seafront (which becomes free from 6 pm to 8 am.). The Eastbourne train station is a 15 minute walk and there are lots of tourist and ordinary buses which will take you to nearby places of interest and further afield destinations.

Beautiful rooms and lovely balcony ( when sun out ) building very peaceful, just opposite the beach ⛱️ and above 🍨 ice-cream parlor. The power shower was great Too many stairs and too heavy a suitcase

Lovely and comfortable, right opposite the ⛱️ beach, plenty of hot water for the power shower, a great little balcony that was an amazing sun trap Quite a few steep steps up to the apartment so a little difficult with suitcase - will pack less next time

The apartment is seafront, therefore, in the busy tourist season you may have to search for free on street parking in neighbouring roads, otherwise there is pay parking on the seafront itself. Once you are parked up (or you are not bringing your car) it is easy to get to all the Eastbourne venues on foot from this superb location. A favourite is walking along the promenade and there are established areas where you can take your four legged member of the family. To explore further afield, there are regular buses nearby, including "sightseeing routes" from the Pier. The train station is approximately a 15 minute walk from the apartment, in the town centre. Nearby towns include Pevensey, Bexhill and Hastings to the east. There is Lewes and Brighton to the West, all with ancient and historical significance.
